Online campaigning and Internet advertising a buzz in political clans!

It seems that politicians have done an extensive market research on online campaigning henceforth making it a key tool for publicizing their agendas through social media. Being a nation of young Indians, political parties targeting youngsters to grab eyeballs on their day to day achievements. Consequently, with their daily updates people connecting to their life’s activities!

As a result, this builds a personal connection with their supporters, followers, and fans on the virtual world, which ultimately lasting effect not only online but offline as well onto their hearts and minds!

Although, it is not necessary that all the folks are genuine on the social web those who are following, supporting or giving likes, they may have contrary perceptions against those politicians, but on the flip side only politicians have the benefit of getting huge hits with their ping of cohorts on the web.

The trend came into an effect after the successful campaigning of American President Barack Obama in 2004 general elections in the US.

Subsequently, we can see such vast influence in Indian political dimensions; for instance in this year’s Lok Sabha polls, nation’s leading political parties are massively engaged in online campaigns, donations, etc. Hence, receiving hits in their efforts.

Almost every politician is in the race of creating accounts on popular social networking websites. But, a few are beating the cut throat competition of virtual world. Peerless figures of Barack Obama on social networking websites are around 38 million supporters on Facebook, and 41.3 million followers on Twitter.

 

In Indian part, Modi queues with 3.35 million Twitter followers and 9.6 million Facebook supporters. Newly elected national capital Chief Minister who quit his post recently Arvind Kejriwal has 1.36 Million Twitter followers.

 

Here are some screenshots of such advertisements in the story, which were available on different websites by the Google. These days, we can see a number of ads by BJP and Congress. Along with this Google’s interesting facet of advertisement is setting a pioneer example in political clans.

Owing to such constructive elements, it has received tremendous success by politicians where several political campaigns have been conducted so far.

 

AAP, Congress, BJP all are trying best to grasp the attention of their section of voters with luring advertisements. The trend will speculatively go on till this year’s Lok Sabha elections come to an end.

Internet endorsement gives boundless promotion to politicians, which is a key advantage to them because of the wide geographical reach. Besides, it’s both time and cost effective aspect as well.
