New Delhi: A nurse was found dead in the staff quarters of a city hospital here, police said on Sunday.

Nirmala, 45, who was working with the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital since 1994, was found drowned in a tub of water in the bathroom of her second-floor quarter on Saturday.

Police said they were informed by the woman’s brother who come to visit and check her out after he failed to contact her over phone.

Police have registered a case of murder, and are also investigating other angles, including robbery.
