Mumbai: The Western Railway has announced a jumbo block on the Harbour line between Mahim junction and Andheri stations on Sunday.

“To carry out maintenance work, a jumbo block will be taken from 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday. The block will be carried out on the Up and Down Harbour lines between Mahim Jn. and Andheri stations.” said WR chief public relations officer Sharat Chandrayan

Due to the block,local trains will remain cancelled and there will be no services on the harbour corridor,sources said.

The railways has permitted passengers travelling by Harbour line from Andheri/Bandra to use the WR and Main line to travel to Mumbai CST station.

“The detailed information on the jumbo block is available with the station masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements,” Chandrayan added.
