Mumbai: Cancer is one unpredictable condition that still has devastating effects on humankind. It has not spared many irrespective of their ability to afford the treatment. Not too long ago it took away some of the biggest names in Bollywood. Actress Sujatha Kumar, veteran actors Vinod Khanna and Feroz Khan succumbed to cancer.

Right now, speculations are rife about the doyen of film clan the Kapoors actor Rishi Kapoor suffering from cancer.

Back in September 2018, the news of Rishi Kapoor being treated in the US for cancer, had taken the social media by storm. The rumour was thwarted by his brother Randhir Kapoor who stated that Rishi himself was unaware of what was going on with him.

This rumour has come alive again following an Instagram post by Rishi Kapoor’s wife, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor captioning a small family get-together picture saying, “Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign !!!”

The specialty of the photograph is that actress Alia Bhatt is seen celebrating the New Year with Kapoor family in which actor Ranbir Kapoor, his sister Riddhima Kapoor-husband Bharat Sahni-daughter Samara, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor are seen together.

However, the Kapoor family has restrained itself from revealing the ailment that Rishi is suffering from.
