NEET results declared, Delhi’s Kalpana Kumari secures first rank

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) announced the results of NEET 2018 on its official website on June 4.

This year Delhi based Kalpana Kumari has topped the entrance examination to the medical and dental courses in the country. She scored a whopping 691 marks out of 720.

Out of the 13 lakh students who appeared for the exam, 6,34,897 passed the NEET exam and scored over 50 percent. The students who qualified NEET 2018 have to register for the online counselling.

Based on the score of NEET examination, CBSE prepares a merit list of the eligible candidates who have opted for 15 percent All India quota seats. The list will be forwarded to the DGHS (Medical Examination Cell) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for allotting the seats by online counselling under the quota.
