New Delhi: After Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah landed in soup for calling actor Anupam Kher a ‘clown’ and speaking against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC), today was his daughter’s turn. Shah’s daughter, however, became the ‘talk of the town’ for a completely different reason. As per reports, Heeba, Shah’s daughter, allegdly assaulted a staffer of a veterinary clinic recently.
As seen in the CCTV footage, Heeba was reportedly seen physically assaulting a female staffer of the Feline Foundation, an NGO for animal care, by slapping and pushing her against the wall.
The NGO filed a complaint with the Versova Police and handed over the CCTV footage, in which Heeba, who had come along with her friends’ pets for treatment, was seen assaulting the staff member.
In the complaint, the Feline Foundation stated that the staffer was beaten up by Heeba as she was upset that no one helped her while she was getting out of the auto-rickshaw with the pets. She was allegedly upset that she was made to wait for a long time.
According to the NGO, Heeba was ‘impatient’ and ‘angry’ for having to wait and was asked to the complete the formalities, while the pets got a surgery. Reportedly, the complaint mentions that Shah’s daughter had even threatened and abused the staff, asking, “Do you know who I am?”
Meanwhile, the police have filed a case against Heeba under suitable sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
