Surat: The potency test held on the self-styled godman Asaram’s son Narayan Sai, who is facing rape charges, is confirmed to be positive.Moreover, he is also learnt to  have told the Gujarat police officials of having physical relations with eight women.

However, Sai has denied the rape charges and told the officials that he had consensual sex with the Surat based girl.

The Surat Commissioner of Police Rakesh Asthana told mediapersons, “During our intense questioning, Sai has more or less accepted the rape allegations levelled against him by one of the two Surat-based sisters.”

“Sai has also revealed to police during interrogation that he had physical relationships with eight of his female disciples out of which he also fathered a child with one of his sevikas (disciple)”, he added.

Sai, whose police custody ends today has been accused of sexually assaulting a city-based woman at his ashram from the year 2002-05. The potency test conducted on 40-year-old Sai have shown positive results.

Sai, was  arrested after two sisters from Surat filed rape complaints against his father and him. Both alleged they were raped by the duo during their stay in the ashram in the mid-2000s.
