Most wanted terrorist Yasin Bhatkal arrested

New Delhi:The most wanted terrorist of India,Yasin Bhatkal, head and master mind of the terror group Indian Mujahideen, has reportedly been arrested near the Nepal border.

He was reportedly arrested in a joint operation of the Delhi and Karnataka police.

The National Investigating Agency(NIA) believes that in 2010, Bhatkal planted the bomb that exploded at the German Bakery in Pune, killing 17 people.

According to the intelligence agencies, this teeror group is responsible for a long list of terror attacks in recent years in cities including Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Yasin Bhatkal, who is 30, is from the city of Bhatkal in Karnataka.  He co-founded the Indian Mujahideen in 2008 with brother Riaz and Abdul Subhan Qureshi.

He is the main accused in the blast outside a stadium in Bangalore in 2010 during a cricket match.
