Srinagar: Militants shot and critically injured a National Conference (NC) worker on Monday, May 13, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, police said.

Police sources said militants fired at Sajad Ahmad, an NC worker in Chitragam Kalan village of Shopian district on Monday evening.

“He was shifted to a hospital in a critical condition. The area has been marked off for searches”, a police source said.
