Srinagar: One militant was killed and a soldier was injured on Thursday during a gunfight in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, police said.

Following a tip-off, security personnel surrounded the Khosa Mohalla area.

This triggered the gunfight, leaving the militant dead and the soldier injured, the police added.
