New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s recent statement pertaining to the slowdown in the auto sector has made way for some savage memes on the social networking platforms.
Sitharaman, on Tuesday, while addressing a news conference had said that one of the major factors behind the slowdown is the change in the mindset of the millennials, who opt for Ola, Uber and other cab services against paying EMIs for a personal vehicle!
Close on the heels of this statement, Twitterattis, who disliked the statement got busy churning out memes. Soon after, hashtags like #SayItLikeNirmala and #BoycottMillennials began trending on social media.
