Shillong : At Upper Shillong on Saturday, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma’s convoy was struck by a pickup truck, according to police.

The Chief Minister and the security staff are secure, though.

According to the police, both vehicles sustained some damage in the collision.

Sangma was traveling to Dawki town near the border between Bangladesh and India to attend an official function when the accident occurred.
