Alappuzha: An elderly man died after he was knocked down by a vehicle used by Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia here on August 10.
According to reports, when Scindia was on his way to attend a function, his car hit the bike near Alappuzha. Scindia immediately rushed the biker to a hospital in his another car. The biker was declared brought dead. Scindia also sent the car and the driver involved in the mishap to police station.

Jyotiraditya Scindia tweeted that he would meet the victim’s family. “Devastated – sad loss of life – unfortunate accident between Cochin-Allepy. Arranged for hospital immediately – on way to meet bereaved family!”
