A woman was discovered dead at a lodge on Cinema Road in the central market of Baramati city, days after a techie was shot at a lodge in Pune, an official said on Monday.
The victim has been identified by the police as 36-year-old Sonwadi in Daund resident Rekha Vinod Bhosale.
It is believed that Vinod Bhosle, her spouse, who had checked in with her, left the scene of the murder. According to local sources, Police Inspector Dinesh Taide is in charge of the police’s preliminary investigation, which has been launched.

The police suspect a family dispute as the potential motive behind the gruesome murder. The police have taken the body of the deceased woman to the hospital for a thorough autopsy.
