A woman was lured to a resort in Hadapsar and then sent to Phaltan under the pretense of being hired well, in an attempt to coerce her into prostitution (Pune Crime News). This horrifying event happened in Hadapsar. In this case, Wanowrie police have filed a complaint against two defendants. The dates of this event were May 3, 2024, and May 9, 2024.
The accused are Sohail Shaikh, the brother of Reshma Didi, and they both live at Lane No. 21 in Sayyad Nagar, Hadapsar. A 22-year-old local resident has lodged a complaint in this instance (Pune Crime News). The young woman was tricked into accepting a good job by both of the accused, according to the police.
She was brought to their home by the first accused. After that, a lodge in Hadapsar was where she was transported (Pune Crime News). Following that, they brought her to a Phaltan society where they attempted to make her consume alcohol. attempted to coerce her into becoming a prostitute.
Sohail Shaikh approached the woman, undressed, and attempted to rape her. The young lady was assaulted and physically assaulted with hands and waist belts after she refused (Pune Crime News).
