Maharashtra: Sushilkumar Shinde, a senior Congress leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Union Minister, has declared his retirement from active political involvement. On Tuesday, he officially announced his withdrawal from electoral politics in anticipation of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Shinde mentioned that his daughter, Praniti Shinde, will run for the Lok Sabha elections from the Solapur Lok Sabha constituency once he concludes his political journey.
