Madhya Pradesh: In a tragic turn of events, the five-year-old girl who fell into a 25-30 feet deep borewell in Madhya Pradesh‘s Rajgarh has succumbed to injuries hours after being rescued by SDRF and NDRF teams on Wednesday morning.
The girl, who was playing in her maternal uncle’s field when the incident occurred, fell into an open borewell. Despite prompt efforts by the administration, including the use of JCB to dig her out and immediate medical attention at Hamidia, Bhopal, she passed away during treatment.

On Tuesday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had assured that all possible measures were being taken for the safe rescue of the girl. The tragic outcome highlights the ongoing concerns about open borewells and the need for preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future.
