Mumbai: A shocking development amid the chaos in state politics struck in, as a vulgar audio clip allegedly of JDS MLA A H Vishwanath was released, here on Tuesday, July 8.

The audio clip contains a conversation between a female and the man who sounds like the JDS leader.

Reacting on this from Mumbai, Vishwanath rubbished it and said that it was a political strategy made by the people who are ‘not in good terms’ with him.

Further clarifying he said, “I’m not bothered about the audio tape, as people of my constituency know me very well. There are a few who are trying to politically finish me and I’m not one of those who’ll be an easy prey for all such things.”

He accused the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition leaders for orchestrating such an act as he had not paid heed to the offers that they had made.

Vishwanath mocked the audio tape row and said, “They have appointed a very good mimicry artist for this and have created an audio tape. When I first heard it, I laughed and appreciated the talent. When there are talented artists who can mimic veteran Sandalwood actor Late Dr Rajkumar, then it doesn’t become a big deal to do mine.”

The audio tape had also gone viral across social media platforms.
