New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a pregnant woman deliberately bit off her husband’s tongue while kissing him and in this act, the 22-year-old man, who is a street artiste has lost almost half his tongue.

The reason behind the wife’s ferocious kiss is her dislike towards her husband’s looks!

The incident took place at Delhi’s Ranhola on Saturday night. The neighbours of the couple said that the two fought frequently and that woman was unhappy because she always felt that her husband was not good-looking. It is said that they had patched up on Saturday after a fight, but things only turned ugly during a ‘kiss’.

It is said that though the man has undergone a surgery at Safdarjung Hospital, the doctors are not yet sure if the man can ever speak again.

The police were informed by the victim’s father about the incident. The woman who is eight months pregnant has been detained and a case has been registered under section 326 of the IPC, which pertains to voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means, punishable with life imprisonment.
