K. Surendran, the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit in Kerala, stated that the prime minister will be speaking at a women’s meeting during his visit.
The purpose of the event is to express gratitude for the Women’s Reservation Bill’s passage.

In the race for the Trissur Lok Sabha seat, the BJP is hoping to win.
Actor Suresh Gopi would represent the constituency for the party.
Gopi had run unsuccessful campaigns from the Trissur seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha and 2021 assembly elections.
