Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam television actress Dr Priya, who was eight months pregnant, tragically passed away on Tuesday due to a cardiac arrest. The news of her demise was shared by actor Kishor Satya on social media. Priya, 35, underwent a regular pregnancy check-up at the hospital before suffering the heart attack. She leaves behind her newborn baby, who is currently in the ICU.
Sharing his grief, Kishor Satya’s Facebook post expressed the sorrow of Priya’s family, highlighting the deep pain of her mother and husband. Priya, known for her role in the popular Malayalam TV show Karuthamuthu, was a beloved figure in the industry. She had taken a break from acting after getting married.
