Thrissur: Kerala businessman Mohommed Nishan has been sentence to life imprisonment on Thursday, in connection with murder case of a security guard.

Thrissur additional district and sessions judge KP Sudhir had on Wednesday pronounced the managing director of Kings Group of companies guilty.

The prosecution had said that Nisham rammed his Hummer vehicle into 47-year-old Chandra Bose on December 29, 2014, and also beat him up. Bose was working as a security guard in a posh residential complex near here.

After battling for life for 48 days at a hospital, Bose succumbed to his injuries on February 15, last year.
