Kejriwal sick, annuls Delhi Jal Board meet

Delhi: The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who was scheduled to chair a meeting of Delhi Jal Board officials on Monday December 30 to discuss ways to provide free 700 liters of water per household as promised by him, has cancelled his meet  due to ill-health.

Kejriwal is said to be suffering from fever and cold and will not attend office today. Sources said he might  take some important decisions from home itself.

Dr Bipin Mittal, who is treating Kejriwal, said, “The Chief Minister has been administered antibiotics to contain his diarrhea and advised complete rest for a day.”

The Delhi Chief Minister has been suffering from cough and cold since last month. On December 28, Sunday  he had cancelled his meeting with people who had come to visit him,0 due to fever. He later made a brief appearance and sought some time to put in place a system to redress their grievances.

Regretting the situation Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi, “God has made be sick at the wrong time.”
