Haridwar: The chief pontiff of Kashi Math Sudheendra Theertha Swami passed away in the wee hours of Sunday January 17. He was 90.

Sudheendra Theertha Swami was the 20th head of the Kashi Math. He was one of the longest serving seers of the Math.

According to sources, the final rituals will be carried out by his main main disciple Samyamindra Theertha.
