Sonamarg (Jammu and Kashmir): On Monday evening, Sonamarg in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir experienced a new bout of snowfall.
The fresh snow blanketed the roofs of tourist resorts and streets in Sonamarg.
Simultaneously, rain swept through portions of Kishtwar district and its environs on the same day.

According to forecasts from the Srinagar Meteorological Centre, Monday evening anticipated light to moderate rain with thunder across most regions in Kashmir Division, including light snow in higher elevations.
Additionally, the weather department projected rainfall in select areas of the Jammu division within the forthcoming 4-6 hours.
