Mumbai: On the 56th graduation function of Bhabha Atomic Research Center (B A R C) was organized on Friday, November 15. The program witnessed the presence Pranab Mukharjee, President of India; K Sankaranarayanan governor of Maharashtra and Prithviraj Chawan chief minister of Maharashtra.

On the occasion Pranab Mukharjee, awarded the Homi Bhabha Prize 2012 – 2013.

After which he inaugurate five programs to be initiated for the welfare of the society around the country under the Nation of “TAG-24” Trombay Groundnut Variety developed by Bhabha Atomic Research Center.

The five programs are, the Proving Advanced Reactor Thermal Hydraulics” PARTH” advance heavy water reactor at Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Waste Immobilization Plant at Kalpakkam, Actinide Separation Demonstration Facility at Tarapur, Experimental Accelerator Driven System at Kaiga, Electron Beams for Pollution Control at Bhabha Atomic Research Center.
