New Delhi: We have all grown up hearing stories and about mythical characters. But what if you encounter one such character in real life? This is what the Indian Army Mountaineering Expedition Team experienced at Makalu-Baran National Park on Tuesday, April 9.

The information was put up in his Twitter handle of ADG PI–Indian Army, yesterday night.

According to the Army personnel, the footprints that they found was of ‘Yeti’, a mythical beast. The footprints measured 35 X 15 inches on snow.

The Twitter post says, “For the first time, an Indian Army Mountaineering Expedition Team has spotted the footprints of mythical beast ‘Yeti’ measuring 32 X 15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on 09 April 2019. The past reference of the elusive snowman’s sighting has been in the same national park.”

The news has given way for contradictions as some believe that it does exist and others say that there is no credible evidence to prove it.

However, the search is still on to confirm if it exists in reality or just folklore.

Meanwhile, the photographs released by the mountaineering team of the Indian Army, depicts the footprint of a beast.

Its expedition has begun almost half-a-century back, but the scientists and mountaineers are still not able to prove its existence.
