Patna : RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav announced on Tuesday that the meeting would now take place on December 17 in response to the cancelation of the INDIA bloc meeting.
When asked why the opposition leader declined to attend the meeting called by Congress in New Delhi following the massive defeat in three states, Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was in Buxar for his party’s MLA Shambhu Yadav’s son’s marriage, replied that the opposition parties’ meeting would take place on December 17.
“Congress party has lost elections in three states and it happened due to its leaders but the Congress is not weak,” he said.
After the massive defeat in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had called INDIA bloc meeting in New Delhi but Mamata Banerjee, Nitish Kumar and Akhilesh Yadav refused to attend the meet.
