Haryana : Veteran Congress leader Bhupinder Hooda called on Monday to overthrow the BJP-JJP government in Haryana, promising gas cylinders to stay at homemakers for Rs 500 and 300 free electricity units for every family.
Hooda declared that “there are no doctors in hospitals of Haryana, no teachers in the schools, and no employees in the government offices” while speaking at a Jan Aakrosh rally held in Safidon.
“The roads are damaged when you venture outside. He declared, “There is nothing this government has done that deserves praise.
Haryana “is today number one in unemployment and crime,” according to the twice-elected chief minister. Prior to 2014, the state led in per capita income, per capita investment, and job creation.
Two lakh government jobs are unfilled as of right now. When the list of candidates for top positions is released, young people from other states are hired while those from Haryana are not.”
According to Hooda, the BJP-JJP government turned into a contractor after the previous Congress government abolished the contracting system.
“A skill corporation was used to transform permanent jobs into temporary positions. They don’t receive a pension or a permanent position from these jobs. Within four years, the young person will return home under the Agniveer program.”
He claimed that by 2022, the BJP had pledged to double farmer income. “Input costs doubled or tripled, but income did not double.” Fertilizer and insecticide costs have tripled,” he claimed.
Among the other leaders present at the rally, which was organized by MLA Subhash Gangoli, was former minister Ashok Arora.
The former chief minister declared that the Congress is going to form a government in the state of Haryana and that a wind of change is blowing in the party’s favor throughout the entire state.
“We follow through on our promises. We will give housewives LPG cylinders for Rs 500 when our government arrives. There will be 300 free units of electricity provided to each family. Every senior citizen in Haryana will receive a pension of Rs 6,000 per month once the Congress party takes power, he pledged.
Hooda, who is the Leader of Opposition, promised to implement old pension scheme for employees and will re-start 100 square yards free plot scheme.
“The creamy layer limit will be increased from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. There will be confirmed recruitment of youth on two lakh government posts,” he added, and also announced plans to build an IMT in Safidon, on the demand of the people.
