Pune: In an extremely shocking incident, a 27-year-old youth is said to have feasted on his mother’s heart with a dash of ‘chatni’ and pepper after stabbing her to death, at Kolhapur on Monday afternoon.

The accused, Sunil Kuchakurni who works as a construction worker has been arrested by the Shahupuri police.

Reportedly, an inebriated and hungry Sunil had picked up a fight with his mother, Yelavva (65) after begging for food from some neighbours. He is alleged to have stabbed his mother in a fit of rage and is suspected to have eaten a portion of her heart as he was spotted an hour later walking out of the house with blood dripping from his hands.

Further investigations are going on.
