Patna: In a recent election rally Bihar CM Nitish Kumar made a strange appeal to the women supporters in the gathering.

The Bihar CM said “If men of the house vote as per your choice, give them food and feed them with love. And if they fail to vote according to you, make them fast for the whole day.”

He was campaigning for the NDA candidate Ashok Yadav of the BJP. He also requested the women to vote in the morning.

Nitish Kumar has consciously tried to create women vote banks in Bihar by implementing several schemes for women’s upliftment and development.

The schemes include bicycles for girl students, liquor ban, Mukhyamantri Napkin Yojana and Kanya Vikas schemes.
