New Delhi: As against the claim of the parents of Divyansh Kakrora, who suspected foul play in his death, the final post mortem report suggests that the student of Ryan International Public School had died of drowning.
Divyansh, 6 was found dead in the school septic tank on January 30. Following his mysterious death, the parents had claimed that their son was found in a naked state and they could not find his clothes. The parents had also suspected that their child could have been sexually abused before having been killed.
However, the post-mortem report of Divyansh reportedly does not suggest sexual assault, but maintains that the boy died due to presence of water in his lungs.
Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi is expected to meet the parents on Monday.
Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had on Sunday said that the Delhi government will recommend a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into Divyansh’s death.
The Delhi Police had on Thursday arrested the principal of the school Sandhya Sabu on charges of causing death due to negligence.
Four other employees of the school were also arrested on the same charges. They were class teacher Minakshi Kapoor (38), reverse osmosis plant operator Yogesh Kholiya (23), maintenance incharge Puran Singh Bisht (65), and gardener Ram Narayan (44).
