New Delhi: The BJP’s National Convention in the national capital witnessed a slew of significant announcements on its inaugural day, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi rallying party workers for a dedicated 100-day effort aimed at securing a resounding victory for the BJP-led NDA in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.During his address to party supporters, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the figure “370” symbolized more than just an electoral target; it represented a homage to the party’s ideological pioneer, Syama Prasad Mukherjee.
He underlined the pivotal role of women, portraying them not merely as voters but as pivotal figures whose electoral blessings would affirm the NDA government’s efforts on their behalf.
Key highlights included the forthcoming Chief Minister’s Council meeting of BJP-ruled states, scheduled for the following day. Prime Minister Modi and BJP President JP Nadda were slated to lead discussions on election preparedness and the progress of central and state government initiatives.
A notable political resolution was passed, condemning the violent crackdown on Opposition protests in West Bengal’s Sandeshkhali. The resolution decried the events as a blot on humanity.
Leaders including JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Yogi Adityanath, and Nirmala Sitharaman underscored the developmental achievements of the BJP since 2014.
