Officials at Tihar jail have granted permission for Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Arvind Kejriwal, to visit him. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced on April 29 that she would meet him today.
According to PTI, Sunita Kejriwal is scheduled to meet the Delhi Chief Minister at 12:30 pm, accompanied by Delhi cabinet minister Atishi.
Earlier, AAP stated that permission had not been granted for the meeting, which was contradicted by jail officials.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is also slated to meet Arvind Kejriwal on April 30.

Sunita Kejriwal’s Recent Statements
During a roadshow in West Delhi on April 28, Sunita Kejriwal referred to Arvind Kejriwal as a “sher (lion)” and defended his actions. She highlighted his initiatives such as providing free electricity, improving school infrastructure, establishing Mohalla Clinics, and announcing financial aid for women. She emphasized that his incarceration was unjust considering his efforts to benefit the citizens of Delhi.
