The dog was disfigured and tossed down the fifteenth storey of a residential building, according to the Noida Police, which claimed on Friday that it had filed a formal complaint against unnamed individuals.

According to authorities, the incident happened on Thursday at Ajnara Homes in Sector 16B, which is part of the Bisrakh authorities Station neighborhood in Noida Extension.

According to them, Keerti Verma, a society resident, filed a complaint, which served as the basis for the FIR.

“The lawsuit states that on Thursday morning, the female dog’s disfigured body was discovered next to a residential tower. The dog was hurled from the tower’s fifteenth story, according to an officer.

The complainant believes that the conduct may have been carried out by some members of the public who oppose feeding stray dogs.

“An FIR has been lodged under Indian Penal Code sections 429 (mischief by killing or maiming cattle, dog etc) and 289 (negligent conduct with respect to animal),” stated the local police.

They claimed that in order to find the responsible parties, the situation is being looked into and CCTV footage is being examined.
