Men Beat a Man to Death Over Fight on Road

Following a fight at a CNG pump over who would get their car refueled first, three men in Greater Noida are accused of beating a 26-year-old man to death, according to police on Tuesday.

According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida), Hirdesh Katheriya, two of the three accused have been taken into custody following the incident, which happened on Monday night.

Around 10.30 pm, Aman Kasana, a resident of Ghaziabad, went to the CNG pump at Kheda Chauganpur village, which is under the jurisdiction of Ecotech 3 police station, to refuel his automobile, according to officials. His 22-year-old cousin Abhishek was with him.

“Aman and his relatives had pulled up to a CNG pump in a car to buy fuel. Simultaneously, a dispute arose regarding the fuel between him and another individual, named as Ajay alias Ajju. Ankush and Rishabh, two of Ajay’s colleagues, were summoned to the location. They beat Aman up,” Katheriya remarked.

“The altercation happened outside the CNG dispenser. Aman suffered serious injuries when he was struck on the head by a stick during the battle. After being brought to a hospital, he passed away from his wounds,” he stated.

According to the police, the accused’s automobile was seized, and the blood-stained stick that was used in the crime was also found.

The police also stated that more legal actions are being taken in this matter, including a post-mortem examination of the body.

Following an incident at a gas station in the city when they allegedly jumped a line to refuel their car, Amanatullah Khan, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi MLA, his son, and a few other people were arrested by the Noida Police last week for assault and criminal intimidation.
