According to authorities, there has been an alleged robbery at a jewelry showroom situated in the Dariba Kalan locality of north Delhi. Reportedly, individuals gained unauthorized access to the showroom by creating a hole in the wall from a neighboring establishment. Law enforcement officials responded to a distress call regarding the burglary and promptly dispatched a team to the scene.
As per a senior police official, the proprietor of the store had secured the premises around 8:30 pm on Saturday and returned home. Upon returning to the store on Monday, the owner, along with his father, discovered that a gap had been breached in the wall, accessed through an adjacent shop which appeared to be in a state of disrepair and unoccupied.
An inventory check revealed that several silver items were missing from the store. The forensic team examined the crime scene, and a case has been filed against unidentified perpetrators. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage for any potential leads, and investigations are ongoing.
