A significant shooting incident at a shop of used luxury automobiles resulted in at least four injuries, according to authorities.
The incident happened at Fusion Cars, a car shop in the Tilak Nagar neighborhood of west Delhi, when two unknown attackers riding motorcycles opened fire. There were rounds fired into the air.
Four persons are receiving medical attention after suffering injuries from shattered glass, according to the police.
However, Vikas Tyagi, one of the injured, stated that he was shot during the event. He was taken to the Jaipur Golden Hospital in the city, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
Tyagi was at the dealership to buy his son a car for his birthday.
The attackers reportedly arrived on a motorcycle, entered the showroom, and then opened fire with at least 15 bullets.
Additionally, they gave a letter to a showroom employee that the police believe to be a letter of extortion.
DCP Vichitra Veer of the Delhi Police addressed the matter, stating that there is a suspicion that the occurrence may have been caused by extortion.
There is currently an ongoing investigation into the matter.
