In a tragic incident, a constable of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) reportedly shot himself dead at Nagloi Metro Station on Thursday morning. Officials confirmed that the constable, identified as Shahre Kishore and enrolled in the CISF as a constable (GD) in 2014, was found deceased with a gunshot wound to his forehead.
The deceased had been posted in Delhi since January 2022 and was discovered near a baggage scanning machine installed at the metro station premises. The Nangloi Metro Police Station received a distress call at 7:03 am, alerting them to the incident.
Upon receiving the information, a police team promptly reached the scene, and the body was subsequently sent for a post-mortem examination. Officials stated that the constable’s family members, residing at Narela government quarters, have been notified, and investigations into the incident are underway.
The circumstances surrounding the alleged suicide, occurring at the X-ray machine scanner area, are being scrutinized by authorities, with a crime team deployed to investigate further. The tragic incident has sparked shock and concern among colleagues and authorities alike.
