Thiruvananthapuram: Yet another controversy after Sabarimala women’s entry strikes in the “God’s own country” as the Public Relation Officer of Defence, Dhanya Sanal climbed the Agastya Kudam mountain, here on Monday, January 14.

The Agastya Kudam is strictly prohibited for women, according to its rituals and practice. But in the year 2018, the Kerala High Court had ordered to make arrangements for the entry of women devotees.

The tribals accused Sanal of breaking the traditions and protested the step taken by her.

But according to Sanal, she had not entered the restricted area of the temple located on the mountain but had only climbed the mountain.

Currently, the tribals have begun protesting against the women’s entry.
