New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today for the first time condemned the Dadri lynching incident and the controversy surrounding Ghulam Ali’s concert.

“However, the central government can’t be blamed for such incidents, these issues are related to law and order and the concern of the state governments,”  Modi said in an interview to Anand Bazaar Patrika

BJP does not support such incidents.  Modi also accused the opposition for playing “politics of polarization.”

Days ago at an election rally in Bihar, Modi had asked Hindus and Muslims to fight together against poverty, and not with each other in the name of religion.
