Raipur: A family’s day out ended tragically when their one-year-old child passed away after slipping from his father’s grasp and falling from a height at a popular shopping mall in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on Tuesday.
Surveillance footage from City Centre Mall in Raipur captured a moment where a man, accompanied by another individual and a young child, was holding his infant son in his arms near an escalator landing. In the video, the man appeared to be trying to prevent the other child, reportedly around 5 years old, from going up the escalator when the toddler he was carrying slipped and fell.
Emergency services were called, and the child was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. Tragically, despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
