Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, ISROs sensitive data hacked

New Delhi: A major cyber attack has breached and compromised sensitive data from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, ISRO and Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL).

According to reports, data and sensitive email conversation between the corporation and administration of Bhabha Atomic Research center has been leaked online.

Unknown hackers attacked and hacked ECIL and documents pertaining to tracking and command systems, telescopes and sensors contracted by Bhabha Atomic Research and ISRO were compromised.

The data was hacked on August 20 by a hacker identified as “phrozenmyst”, said to be as part of “anonymous” hacker network.
