Patna: Quite a few people hate mathematics, but what if you had a teacher who could make you fall in love with the subject? A Bihar school teacher has done just this and made the subject very interesting and fun for her students.

A video of Ruby Kumari, a teacher at a school located in Bounsi, Banka, teaching students the multiplication table of number nine using hand gestures, has taken social media by storm.

The video was shared on a Facebook group of the Bihar education project council named “Teachers of Bihar – the changemakers”.

Taking to Twitter, industrialist Anand Mahindra wrote, “Whaaaat? I didn’t know about this clever shortcut. Wish she had been MY math teacher. I probably would have been a lot better at the subject! #whatsappwonderbox”

Retweeting Anand’s tweet, Bollywood’s ‘King Khan’ Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Can’t tell you how many of my life’s issues this one simple calculation has solved wow! Sending it to #byju to include it in their teaching methods.”

Meanwhile, Ruby has thanked both Shah Rukh and Anand by sharing a video on the “Teachers of Bihar” Twitter handle.
