Bhopal: Speaking on the promises made by the Modi led BJP Government, Amit Shah, BJP President said, “The BJP will take 25 years to deliver “acche din” which was promised by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Monday.
In a broader perspective Shah said that the term ‘acche din’ referred to the restoration of the pride that India enjoyed before the British raj. He also went on to say that the mere 5 year rule of BJP cannot make India the top world power.
He elaborated that in its first five-year rule, the BJP government could reduce inflation, ensure secure borders, make a strong foreign policy, achieve economic development, provide jobs and remove poverty. “But the BJP needs to win elections at every level, from Panchayat to the Lok Sabha, for 25 years to take India to the No. 1 position in the world,” he added.
However, the statement made by Shah of BJP taking 25 years to deliver ‘acche din’ is said to have gone viral across social media.
