Lucknow:The UP police have arrested the three youth accused of molestion a American student, who had to jump off a moving auto rickshaw to save herself.
 
According to media reports, the victim had boarded a rickshaw in Tuliaganj late Saturday. After all the passengers de-boarded the vehicle at different places, the rickshaw driver, along with his two friends molested the girl.
 
In her complaint to the police, the victim said after all the passengers de-boarded the vehicle at different places, the driver, along with his two friends molested her for 20 minutes.
 
She said that when she tried to raise an alarm they raised the volume of the music in the vehicle. She jumped off the moving vehicle, when it slowed down near Qaiserbagh, and noted the number of the tempo and conveyed it to the police.
 
The reports state that the police were initialy reluctant in filing a formal complaint, instead gave her verbal assurance to help her. They agreed to lodge a case after the girl insisted that she would not settle for anything less than a formal complaint.
 
Police arrested tempo driver Veeru and his friends Rajan and Ayush.
 
Women police station in-charge Shiva Shukla said that the trio would be paraded before the victim Monday for identification.
