Allahabad: In a rather fanatic move, a school in Uttar Pradesh has banned the national Anthem of India stating that a particular line of the national anthem was anti-Islamic.
It is said that the manager of the school named MA Convent School has directed the students to refrain from singing the anthem as he feels that the line ‘Bharath Bhagya Vidhatha’ was against Islam.
Protesting against the move as many as eight school teachers have resigned from job, said sources.
