New Delhi :Arvind Kejriwal,Aam Aadmi Party convener is all set to take oath as Delhis Chief Minister on Wednesday. Departing from the usual practice of taking oath at Raj Bhavan, the AAP intends to  hold the ceremony either at Jantar Mantar or Ramlila Maidan, from where the year-old party had launched an anti-corruption crusade against the political establishment.

While the AAP legislators would now be called “jan sevaks (public servants),” sources said the party leadership has even asked them to watch the Anil Kapoor-starring film Nayak, in which the protagonist, who becomes Chief Minister for a day, takes on the corrupt to cleanse the system.

The AAPs decision to form a minority government backed by Congress, which has eight MLAs, is driven by the overwhelming response that the party has received from people who want it to assume power in Delhi.

Sources close to  Kejriwal said that the party leadership on Saturday decided to stake claim for government formation in Delhi.

It is learnt that the party leadership had even held a secret meeting to apprise the MLAs about their role and responsibilities in running the new governmen at a resort in south Delhi.
