Mumbai: The 56th Nadahabba was celebrated by Goregaon Karnataka Sangha on Sunday November 24, in Durgadevi Saraf Hall at Malad west.

Well known literator and researcher Dr Kabbinale Vasantha Bharadwaj  addressing the gathering said, “Here, I can see different colours from Kasargod to Karvar. Let us build our nation by building our own states, we have to think about how to carry forward the culture to the new generation.”

Proceeding further he described the beauty of Karnataka and said literature is essential during today’s modern culture. 

Advocate Prakash L Shetty president of Gurudeva Seva Balaga, Mumbai was the Chief Guest for the event along with Jayaram G Shetty president of Adishakti Kannada Sangha and School, Thane who was the Guest of honour. In their speech they appreciated the activities of the Sangha to save Kannada culture and language.

President of Goregaon Karnataka Sangha Payyar Ramesh K Shetty welcomed the guests. General Secretary Veda M Suvarna presented brief report of the Sangha. GT Acharya , Varija Sadanand and Bhaskar Kotian introduced the guests. Vidya Deshpande compared the programme.
