Hyderabad: The Central government, which had sent Air India flights to China in order to evacuate all Indians trapped in the Coronavirus shutdown, has reportedly left behind a woman from Andhra Pradesh.
Shruthi, a 22-year-old resident of Kurnool district, had left to China for a TCS training programme with 58 others last year. Unfortunately, the training centre is located in Wuhan which is said to be the epicentre of coronavirus.
She has now made a video in which Shruthi says that she was made to stay back by officials in China as she had recorded high body temperature. She has also appealed to the Centre to make arrangements for her evacuation from the coronavirus-prone area, and subsequently, bring her back to India.
According to family sources, Shruthi (who is already engaged) was about to get married on February 18.
The worried family has made an appeal to the Centre to help their daughter return back safely and in time for the marriage.
As per current reports, the Centre has brought back around 647 Indians to India via two AI flights.
